Breathtaking catches with Battle-Shad

New pike record for Babs Kijewski

Black Cat Trophy

Beaucaire (F). The second installment of the Black Cat Trophy ended June 30th 2012. 25 boats with each two participants joined the competition at the River Rhone's Aramon section. The majority of teams were French but there were also teams from Belgium, Luxembourg and Austria. My Dream Tench

I was fishing at a big lake (400x600 m), scarcely populated by fish, as my hunting ground I chose a densely overgrown spot with water depths of 2-4 m. As always I used my "light carp setup" for Big Bream and Tench:- 3 Browning Hot Rod Commercial Carp rods with Quantum Crypton Heat 840 SRC reels- 50 gr Method Feeder, 8-10 cm leader, 10 mm Hybrid Magic Marbles and Tutti Frutti Boilies.-Groundbait: Big Fish,  Halibut BBQ, sweet corn and 4 mm pellets.After seven to eight warm summer nights in June I had caught several tench, the biggest one weighing 3.55 kg.The morning I had landed...
