Bob is back

Tostedt. Tackle giant Zebco Sports Europe announces that the 4 times individual world champion Bob Nudd is returning into the Browning family, which he has been member of already for more than 28 years. This partnership discontinued in April 2008 (in fact one of the longest partnerships between a sponsored angler and a fishing tackle manufacturer), when Bob Nudd decided that it was time for a change and when he went to Fox.

 Obviously it was good that Bob left Browning and its team with the feeling of being still good friends. Though Bob states that he enjoyed the time with Fox, he admits that his move was a mistake. He missed Browning and the Browning family of sponsored anglers and supporters more than he thought when he was leaving. Probably no wonder after such a long and trustful cooperation. Besides, up to now still many anglers are not even aware that Bob was away ever, as people come on shows to the Browning booth regularly and ask about how Bob is.

 Peter Delwes, managing director of Zebco Sports Europe, comments: We are happy that Bob has decided to continue his impressive career with the for him characteristic white cap and the Browning buck head on it. We will involve him obviously in product development and product testing again. But his biggest strength is without any doubts his role as an ambassador on the banks of the water. Surely anglers will meet Bob on a lot of shows in the future too, as well in UK as in other countries in Europe, where we send him to. People just like to meet with Bob,  and so do we!
