Browning "Warhorse" Classic Pole Match 2016

Are you still using a "classic " Browning pole? Or perhaps you have an "old favourite" Browning lurking in the back of your tackle shed? If yes, you are invited to dust it off and use it in a special match, with the chance to win a brand new Browning pole, or one or many other tackle prizes.
 
The match is free to enter and is open to owners of pre 2005 Browning poles (see below). This year's event will be held on Sunday October 16th at the popular Aston Park Fishery near Sheffield. Spectators will be welcome and visitors will get the opportunity to try some of Browning’s latest range of poles. Bob Nudd will fish the event but will not be eligable to win a new pole!

Frerk Petersen, Marketing Director for Zebco Europe / Browning says: "Browning has been making poles for more than 40 years and we still have lots of customers who own one of our older models so we run a special match to get these old "warhorses" in action again. The event has proved to be so entertaining and popular that we are repeating the "Browning Warhorse Classic Pole Match" for a third year. This year we're moving further north to give a new group of owners of old Browning poles an opportunity to enjoy what is a very different and memorable day. In previous matches we've seen Browning poles up to 30 years old being used , many immaculate and well cared for by their owners, but some very well "used and abused"! We've also been told some lovely stories by anglers about their "old favourite pole". Incredibly, the first 2 matches were both won by Clive Nada from Essex using his 20 year old Browning "Advance". Clive will be returning this year to try and do the "hattrick" and win the top-end Browning pole which is the main prize - but I'm sure that the other competitors will do their best to stop him! Anglers who have fished the previous events are more than welcome to enter again".
 
To enter, or for more information, initially email warhorse@zebco-europe.com with your name, contact details and model of Browning pole you will be using. Closing date is September 15th.
 
There will be a just a few special rules (see below) to ensure a fair match:

1) The pole used must be a Browning pre 2005 model. Pole ranges like the Carboxys, early Black Magics, Titaniums, Legends plus many others will be eligible. If you are unsure if your pole is eligible email Browning on the address above.
2) There will be pole length limit of 13m maximum and 4m minimum
3) A maximum of 2 topkits, plus a separate cupping kit, can be set up.
