Youth Masters 2010 Cancelled Due To World Cup

Zebco Sports Europe Ltd has taken the decision to cancel the Youth Masters this year, due to the World Cup.

As a result of the World Cup in the months of June & July, both the demand and transport to the qualifiers would have been difficult to predict. The fact that the age to participate in a qualifier is 17 years and under, a large number of participants would have needed transport to the venues.

It would have also have been difficult to squeeze in all the qualifiers after the World Cup, and host a final before the start of the new school term in August. Every attempt was made to run the competition again this year, but on liaison with the organisers and fisheries the decision was made to cancel this year.

The competition will re-commence in the summer of 2011, and there are exciting plans to make the event bigger and better.
